Gary Van Acker started his business in the early 1980s after serendipitous meetings with renowned interior designer Billy Gaylord and the equally esteemed architect Ugo Sap. Gary incorporated Van Acker Construction in 1987. The architectural vocabulary ranged from Gaylord's restoration of San Francisco's Victorian Baroque Sherman House to Sap's new build of a modern equestrian ranch in central California. Today, their Bay Area-based general contracting and construction management firm continues to work with elite architects and designers throughout the Northwest under the co-direction of Gary and his son, Daniel Van Acker. 

Both Van Ackers find inspiration in providing their clientele with the highest quality craft and service, seeing projects from Concept to Completion. Aiding the Van Ackers are a diverse group of highly skilled individuals.
